BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s solo debut track is still going strong in the United Kingdom!
Last week, Jisoo became the first female K-pop soloist in history to enter the top 40 of the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart when her new song “FLOWER” debuted at No. 38.
On April 14 local time, the Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) revealed that “FLOWER” had successfully remained on its Official Singles Chart for a second consecutive week. For the week of April 14 to 20, “FLOWER” charted at No. 91.
Notably, “FLOWER” is only the second song by a female K-pop soloist ever to spend more than one week on the Official Singles Chart. The only other song to achieve the feat to date is Jisoo’s bandmate Lisa‘s hit 2021 B-side “MONEY.”
Congratulations to Jisoo on her impressive achievement!
