Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 11 Recap

A look into the past of the Cho sisters gives us a glimpse of the changes in their lives as they hide the darkness with their bright smiles. From Jin-dal being the daughter-in-law of a rich family, to Hae-dal being a single mother at a young age after the passing of her husband, and Sam-dal’s career going down in drains, the sisters have surely gone through an ordeal which cannot be compared.

With this, we are brought back to the present where Yong-pil reminds Sam-dal about what happened between them the previous day, which stimulates the memories hidden in her head. Recalling the kiss she initiated, Sam-dal runs from there while Yong-pil chases after her until she hides herself inside a room.

However, Yong-pil doesn’t leave from there and chooses to wait for her for as long as needed. Elsewhere, Dae-young comes face to face with Jin-dal’s parents whose anger breaks the roof when they find out that he is trying to bring the theme park to Samdal-ri. They refuse to let this happen and leave from there, but Cho Pan-sik tells him to go elsewhere for a talk.

The two begin a round of drinking while Jin-dal finds out that Dae-young made this decision as some people in Namdal-ri badmouthed her. Meanwhile, Pan-sik confronts Dae-young about the promise he failed to fulfil when he married Jin-dal. He also accuses him of not telling them how he had been when the chaos left behind by Jin-dal had him surrounded.

Dae-young finally breaks down in front of Pan-sik as he apologises for not taking better care of his wife. He tells him that he doesn’t want any money as it is Jin-dal that he needs in his life, as she is more important than anything to him. He continues to cry in front of his ex-father-in-law and passes out.

Meanwhile, the sisters wait for their father and Dae-young while wondering where Sam-dal had disappeared for the whole day. Elsewhere, Yong-pil tells Sam-dal that he will try his best to waver again so that she can finally lean on him. Sam-dal opens the door and asks him if he would be able to bear the burden if she leaned on him and he shows his willingness for the same.

The next morning, Sam-dal looks back to what had happened between her and Yong-pil when she comes across her father and Dae-young sleeping near the door. Her sisters also come out to see what happened and quickly wake up the two men. The family then gather for breakfast with Dae-young, who is asked to leave after eating by his ex-mother-in-law.

However, recalling the events of the past, Jin-dal pulls him out of the house before he can finish breakfast. Meanwhile, Sang-tae tries to find out how Yong-pil is doing. Later, Yong-pil looks into any atmospheric phenomenon happening any time soon for Sam-dal’s photography while Gyeon-tae questions him about the events of the day before.

Back in Seoul, Eun-ju is frustrated as the model and photography team leave in the middle of their work when she makes them work over their time limit while blaming them for not doing their work properly. However, the truth is that she is unable to photograph a proper shot and assumes that people are looking down upon her.

This news reaches Sam-dal through Eun-bi who then talks about the scarf Eun-ju had tried to forcefully include in Sam-dal’s last project. However, Sam-dal does not dive deep into the topic and disconnects the call. Right then, she receives a call from Yong-pil which reminds her of memories from the day before.

However, she is not ready to face him and ignores his call, unaware that he is already standing in front of her. Sam-dal gets a shock when she looks up while Yong-pil tells her to prepare her camera for a shoot. He then begins to follow her while she tries to avoid him. Elsewhere, Sang-do continuously hears people telling him to help Yong-pil get together with Sam-dal which angers him.

But this time, his outburst is seen by Sam-dal and Yong-pil and the trio move towards their hangout spot. There, the two men ask for Sam-dal to leave and they begin their discussion about who gave up more for whom. Meanwhile, Sam-dal finds Yong-pil’s bags inside the room and is shocked.

She then overhears their discussion and comes out to try to resolve it. On the other hand, divers from Namdal-ri enter Samdal-ri for a face-off after finding out that the theme park plan has been moved to this town. Mi-ja and her divers make their way to meet them while the rest of Samdal-ri find out what has happened.

Soon, Jin-dal, Dae-young, Sam-dal, Yong-pil, and the rest of their group also make their way to the place where the two groups meet. However, a fight breaks out right in front of them and this group of people rush in to stop the women from fighting. The chaos creates a big mess and Gyeong-tae finally puts a stop to this by spraying water all over them.

Later, Jin-dal tells Dae-young to go back to Namdal-ri, however, he stops her by telling her that they can stop Mi-ja from going back to diving by building the theme park. This makes Jin-dal waver as she begins to think about his proposal. Elsewhere, Yong-pil finally gets Sam-dal to go out to where he is taking her.

Meanwhile, Hae-dal posts pictures of her daughter on social media, however, she cannot stop feeling envious of people around her who have accomplished much more in life. Right then she remembers Ji-chan’s words which makes her smile as she makes her way to her daughter. Elsewhere, Ji-chan also looks over Hae-dal’s social media and finds out that Ha-yul is her daughter.

Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 11 Ending

Sam-dal and Yong-pil finally reach their destination and the latter pulls out some coffee to remind them of some precious memories. Yong-pil asks Sam-dal to remember why they broke up, but when she is unable to say anything, he brings back the words Sam-dal told him. He recalls how one should not get back with an ex as they remember the reason why they broke up.

However, now the reason behind their break up is not as strong as the memories of their love which are bringing back a surge of strength that he needs to get back with her. His love for her is stronger and with these words, Yong-pil leans in and kisses Sam-dal, who returns the gesture with tears streaming down her face.

Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 11 Review

Episode 11 has brought another rollercoaster of emotions, however, this time we see the focus being divided equally among the Cho sisters. This division has surely brought in a new freshness while also keeping the main couple the centre of attention. This episode was surely a charmer for viewers as we see the real strength of the Cho sisters.

Meanwhile, Sam-dal is now strong enough to face the block that made her stumble and it also looks like the time for her to win a battle is nearing. As a character from Seoul returns to the story, Sam-dal is ready to earn back the prestige she once held. But will this dragon return after flying away from the stream this time?
