My Man is Cupid Episode 11 Recap
A still from the series “My Man is Cupid”
The episode starts with the flashback revealing how Baek-ryun in her past life as the maid, saw Sang-hyuk the cupid when she caught the falling petal of the flower. We learn that Sang-hyuk and Baek-ryun have fallen in love in their past life, got married, and shared a night. However, the king, that is Jae-hee, has forcefully married her prompting the death of Sang-hyuk (since he is a cupid, he doesn’t die). In fact, he also arranges to kill his wife but she jumps off a cliff as per the instruction of a diety so she can meet Sang-hyuk again.
The small kid that we see around the deity of the red thread in the present is the one who destined Sang-hyuk with Baek-ryun 500 years ago by changing the direction of Sang-hyuk’s arrow. It’s understood that the small kid is also a deity. Both deities are teaching Sang-hyuk the power of love and fear. Then the next flashback moves to the story of Jeong-ah and Sang-hyuk, showing how they met, fell in love, and how her tragic death made him realize that he’s cursed never to get a woman.
From the viewers’ point of view, we learn that Jeong-ah is also the reincarnation of the maid and the present Baek-ryun is the third birth of the same soul. Back at the hospital in the present, Sang-hyuk doesn’t catch Baek-ryun’s words when she says “It’s you, my man” because he doesn’t know she dreamt her past. She also thinks she simply dreamed due and that’s not her past. Jae-hee’s suspicion on Sang-hyuk increases and he decides to find out more about him. With the help of a straw he used, Jae-hee collects the DNA of Sang-hyuk.
To his surprise he learns that there isn’t any DNA existing, making him wonder who he really is. Meanwhile, Dong-gu’s feelings for Do-ra increase rapidly and he struggles to convey it. To stay more on the earth, he matches up random people and reduces the golden glow on their arrows. Sang-hyuk receives a file from the psychiatrist who found a strong connection between the Polka dot case girl (Jeong-ah) and Baek-ryun. His hand starts to vanish when he tries to read it, prompting his metamorphoses. Jae-hee witnesses this but before he can catch him, Sang-hyuk runs away.

Was the Serial Killer Found?
Yes! Myeong-sik gets caught red-handed after a cigarette bud from the crime scene matches his DNA. Moreover, Baek-ryun also mentions to Jae-hee that she deeply scratched the killer’s neck. When Jae-hee checks Myeong-sik’s neck, he sees the scar and arrests him. During interrogation, he fails to respond and so they assign another method to find the reason behind his killings.
Did Sang-hyuk Learn That Jeong-ha and Baek-ryun are the reincarnations of the maid?
He sure did. After reading the report given by the psychiatrist he figures out that every sentence Baek-ryun said during her hypnosis test is nothing but the description of both her lives. He realises that the current Baek-ryun is the maid and also Jeong-ah, who tragically died so that he can complete his metamorphoses and learn his lesson.
