When the fairytale love story of the famous Song-Song couple ended, I thought that our sobbing hearts would get a reprieve but surprise, surprise! I couldn't have been more wrong. Earlier today, news broke out that Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun were headed for a divorce.

The actress revealed her husband's desire for them to go their separate ways through an IG post that she's already deleted. To say that I am shocked is an understatement, I loved their tandem in the medical-thriller Blood where they met, fell into a whirlwind romance in 2016 and tied the knot the same year. I was even amazed with their decision to not hold a wedding party and instead donate the money to the pediatric ward of a certain hospital. I definitely didn't expect for their marriage to be short-lived.

What makes this pending divorce even harder to accept is knowing that the couple seem to have major differences for Goo Hye Sun to resort to spilling their dirty laundry on social media and insinuating that Ahn Jae Hyun got bored with their relationship. Ahn Jae Hyun's mind is already made up based on the conversation that Goo Hye Sun suddenly revealed to the whole world.

The couple belong under HB Entertainment which has subsequently released an official statement. According to them, the actress's post has caught them off guard and has put them in a messy situation since to their knowledge, the decision to separate was mutual and everything has been discussed. Goo Hye Sun took to Instagram again to call out the agency for their lies saying that she was not even consulted regarding the alleged official statement. Uh-oh. She already deleted the post but if this is true, I really feel bad for her because it looks like the agency has taken her husband's side.

Hmm, we're getting one revelation after another. With all that's happening, I'm still hoping that Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun can at least have an amicable divorce process.
