K-pop diva Hyomin, a member of girl group T-ara, is the most popular Korean female celebrity on Chinese social media Weibo, reports said Monday.

Hyomin was 38th on Weibo's recent real-time popularity ranking of stars with Weibo accounts. Her rank is the highest among Korean female celebrities.

She proved her popularity in China with her song "Allure" too. Released in February, it topped the music chart for the "Korean region" on YinYueTai ― the largest music video-sharing site in China ― for eight weeks in a row.

T-ara debuted in 2009 and had several hit songs including "TTL" (2009), "Bo Peep Bo Peep" (2009) and "Roly-Poly" (2011). Hyomin also has been going solo, releasing tracks including "Nice Body" (2014) and "U Um U Um" (2018).
