Dreamcatcher's Gahyeon Announces Change To Romanization Of Her Name

Dreamcatcher’s Gahyeon has changed the official romanization of her name.

On July 21, Dreamcatcher Company announced that Gahyeon would now be spelling her name as “Gahyun” from here on out. (The Korean spelling and pronunciation of her name remain the same.)

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

"Hello. This is Dreamcatcher Company.

We are making an announcement regarding a change in Dreamcatcher member Gahyeon’s English stage name.

After discussing the matter with Gahyeon, we plan to begin using the English name “Gahyun” instead of the previously used “Gahyeon” starting from July 21, 2024.

Please watch over Dreamcatcher’s Gahyun’s future activities under her new English name, and we ask for your unchanging love and support.

Thank you."

Meanwhile, Dreamcatcher recently made a comeback with their 10th mini album “Virtuous” and its powerful title track “JUSTICE.”
