tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” and SBS’s “Taxi Driver 2” dominated this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!
For the sixth consecutive week, “Crash Course in Romance” held onto its spot at No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “Crash Course in Romance” remain No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its leads also continued to sweep the top two spots on the list of most buzzworthy cast members, where Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon maintained their positions at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. The “Crash Course in Romance” cast claimed four out of the top 10 spots this week, with Shin Jae Ha rising to No. 5 and Noh Yoon Seo coming in at No. 8.
Meanwhile, the new second season of “Taxi Driver” debuted at No. 2 on the drama list this week, with star Lee Je Hoon entering the actor rankings at No. 3.
JTBC’s “Agency” rose to No. 3 on the drama list, while stars Lee Bo Young and Son Naeun ranked No. 4 and No. 6 respectively on the actor list.
TV Chosun’s “Red Balloon” stayed strong at No. 4 on the drama list, with leading ladies Seo Ji Hye and Hong Soo Hyun rising to No. 7 and No. 9 respectively on the actor list.
Finally, tvN’s new webtoon adaptation “The Heavenly Idol” debuted at No. 6 on this week’s list of most buzzworthy dramas.
