Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, And Chu Young Woo Are Lost In Their Twisted Fates In New “Oasis” Poster

KBS2’s upcoming drama “Oasis” has dropped a new intriguing poster!

“Oasis” is a drama about three youths who fight fiercely to protect their dreams and friendship as well as their one and only first love in the turbulent backdrop of South Korea from 1980 to 1990. Jang Dong Yoon stars as Lee Doo Hak who has an intelligent mind and clear soul despite growing up in poverty. He harbors a pure love, falling in love at first sight after seeing Oh Jung Shin (Seol In Ah), a transfer student from Seoul. Chu Young Woo plays Lee Doo Hak’s childhood friend and fated rival Choi Chul Woong.

The newly released poster features the three youths Lee Doo Hak, Oh Jung Shin, and Choi Chul Woong each staring at someone from different places, showcasing a completely different atmosphere from the previously unveiled poster.

Doo Hak with scars on his face, Jung Shin in her black dress with smoky eye makeup, and Chul Woong in a well-fitted suit suggest the different worlds that the three are living in as they grow older. Doo Hak’s fierce gaze that is aimed upwards meets Chul Woong’s downward gaze, creating tension between the two. Jung Shin, whose body is turned toward Chul Woong but whose gaze is directed at Doo Hak only, implies at the twisted love and relationship between the three youths who once shared happy memories together.
