Netflix’s new mystery thriller series “The Bequeathed” is gearing up for its release!

“The Bequeathed” tells the story of Yoon Seo Ha (Kim Hyun Joo), who is left as the sole heir to her family’s burial ground following the death of a long-forgotten uncle. After inheriting the burial ground, she finds herself in the center of a string of murders and dark secrets.

The newly released main poster raises viewers’ anticipation with the eerie vibes of the four main characters. Against the backdrop of the burial ground, the poster depicts Yoon Seo Ha, who inherited the burial ground after her uncle’s death, her half-brother Kim Young Ho (Ryu Kyung Soo), who threatens Seo Ha by saying that he also deserves to inherit it, Detective Choi Sung Jun (Park Hee Soon), who delves into mysterious incidents that occurred in the village, and Captain Park Sang Min (Park Byung Eun), who narrows down suspects through investigation.​

The trailer which was released along with the poster previews the mysterious events that happen to Seo Ha after she becomes the sole heir to her family’s inheritance. Seo Ha’s suspicion and anxiety toward her half-brother Young Ho spirals out of control as she experiences a series of ominous events such as a construction company approaching her and asking to sell the burial ground, a body found with a gunshot wound, and hand-written symbols drawn with blood at the entrance of her house.
