SBS has shared another look at the cast of their upcoming romance drama starring U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young and Jung In Sun!
“I’ll Become Your Night” (literal translation) is a romance drama about popular idol band LUNA and a fake doctor who ends up living at their dorm to treat a sleepwalking member.
Jung In Sun will star as In Yoon Joo, while Lee Jun Young will star as Yoon Tae In, LUNA’s leader, vocalist, and producer. The remaining members of LUNA will be portrayed by Jang Dong Joo, Yoon Ji Sung, NU’EST’s JR, and AB6IX’s Kim Dong Hyun.
After recently sharing photos from the cast’s first script reading, SBS has now released a new behind-the-scenes clip from the gathering. Director Ahn Ji Sook begins by sharing, “This is a project that went through a lot of twists and turns, but I hope we can dive into filming with fun spirits.”
The cast members all introduce themselves and their characters, starting with Jung In Sun as In Yoon Joo. Her character is described as a guide-turned-physician and a human vitamin. Lee Jun Young stars as Yoon Tae In, an aloof musical prodigy with perfectionist tendencies. A preview of his lines shows his character’s charms as a producer, with Yoon Tae In nonchalantly yet seriously instructing others on how to improve their music.
Jang Dong Joo introduces himself as Seo Woo Yeon, the kind and considerate sub-vocal and mental anchor of LUNA. NU’EST’s JR will play LUNA’s bassist Lee Shin, who knows how to steal women’s hearts.
Yoon Ji Sung will portray Kim Yoo Chan, LUNA’s eldest member and drummer. He’s also known as a fashionista and a “pro idol” who only has love for his fans. AB6IX’s Kim Dong Hyun will play LUNA’s youngest member and keyboardist Woo Ga On. Although he’s shy, he is also full of unexpected charms. As he practicing his lines, it’s revealed that Woo Ga On kindly gives up his room for the group’s new live-in doctor In Yoon Joo.
After the reading, JR comments, “I think that I was able to proceed comfortably because we were in such a friendly atmosphere.” Lee Jun Young adds, “It feels new and different, and I feel like we’ll hit the jackpot. As I say that, all the staff and cast members in front of me are laughing.”
The cast members then ask for lots of love and support for their drama, which will premiere sometime in November.
