“Crash Course in Romance” has shared a behind-the-scenes look of their close cast!
tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” is about the unlikely love story between Nam Haeng Sun (Jeon Do Yeon), a former national athlete who now runs her own side dish shop, and Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho), a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education sphere.
The making-of clip kicks off at Nam Haeng Sun’s house, where Choi Chi Yeol is tutoring her daughter Nam Hae Yi (Noh Yoon Seo). While rehearsing the overly polite and awkward tension between their characters, Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho giggle constantly in disbelief at each other’s lines.
The laughs continue when they duo moves outside to film a scene where Choi Chi Yeol discovers a drunk Nam Haeng Sun. Although he initially tries convincing her to stop drinking, he winds up getting more drunk than her. As the actors brainstorm different ways to tussle, faint, and find their way home, the director adds to the vibrant and cheery set atmosphere as he chimes in with new ideas.
Following various other scenes with Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, and more, the making-of camera is taken to Woorim High School for a special vlog with Noh Yoon Seo’s classmates. Lee Chae Min and Lee Min Jae introduce themselves, then describe their first impressions of one another. After, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, and Noh Yoon Seo share their own first impressions.
They five students are asked about their Myers Briggs type indicators (MBTIs) and Lee Chae Min confidently volunteers to share everyone’s. He comments that he is ISFP, Ryu Da In INTP, Lee Min Jae ENFP, and Noh Yoon Seo ISFP. He then laughs as he points to Kang Na Eon and boldly states “I don’t know.” He then quickly redeems himself by adding, “ISTJ.”
While discussing unique aspects of the way their characters dress, Lee Min Jae reveals that his uniform has no name tag. When his shocked co-stars ask why, he makes everyone laugh by nonchalantly joking, “They didn’t give me one.”
