Yoo Yeon Seok and Geum Sae Rok liven up the set of “The Interest of Love” with their sweet chemistry!
“The Interest of Love” is a realistic romance drama about four people with different interests who meet while working at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank. As they become entangled in one another’s lives, they eventually come to understand the true meaning of love.
In the newly released making-of video, Yoo Yeon Seok and Geum Sae Rok prepare for their brief kiss scene together. Geum Sae Rok and the director suggest Yoo Yeon Seok does something sweet and romantic as to give Geum Sae Rok’s character a reason to blush before their kiss scene.
Yoo Yeon Seok puts his arm around Geum Sae Rok’s shoulder but quickly puts it back down, saying, “I feel like this will be weird.” Geum Sae Rok adorably demands, “Do it! You didn’t do anything for me. You didn’t even pat my head when there is originally a scene in the script of you patting my head. You never do anything for me.” Yoo Yeon Seok bursts out laughing, explaining, “That’s not it. That’s not [in the script].” A staff member jokingly chimes in, “Just do it for her.” Geum Sae Rok continues to tease, “I’m going to cry. I have a lot of pent up [emotions].”
After rehearsing, the pair films the kiss scene multiple times to make the moment look as natural and romantic as possible. Following one of the takes, the director comments, “I think Sang Soo’s [Yoo Yeon Seok’s] lips moved forward to [reciprocate the kiss].” Yoo Yeon Seok laughs, jokingly hitting his own lips for reacting to what is supposed to be a surprise kiss.
