Watch: Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Is More Than Happy To Stick By Na In Woo’s Side In “Jinxed At First” Teaser

KBS 2TV has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Jinxed at First”!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun plays the role of Seul Bi, who has the special ability of seeing the future of any person she touches. Due to this ability, Seul Bi is forced to suffer the shame of living in captivity. Despite this unfair situation, Seul Bi still radiates positive energy as she daydreams about a happy life.

Na In Woo will be playing Seodong Market’s fish seller Gong Soo Kwang who has a special jinx and an unfortunate swamp of bad luck. The handsome, kind, and skilled Gong Soo Kwang ends up living a completely transformed life after an unpredictable incident. Although he’s accepted his unfortunate fate, his life is changed all over again when he meets Seul Bi, a goddess of fortune.

The newly released teaser starts with Seul Bi entering a bus that Gong Soo Kwang is coincidentally in. She stumbles with a yelp, and he yells in panic as he attempts to catch her before she falls. However, the heart-fluttering encounter is interrupted by chilling reality when it’s revealed that mysterious men in suits are searching for her.

Seul Bi ends up staying at Gong Soo Kwang’s house, and Gong Soo Kwang is bewildered by her natural behavior around him. He asks, “Hey, what if I’m a bad person?” In response, Seul Bi purely tilts her head with wide eyes and asks, “What do you mean?”

Sun Sam Joong (Jun Kwang Ryul) gets into a tense confrontation with Seul Bi’s mother Mi Soo (Yoon Ji Hye). There is a shiny necklace hanging from her neck, raising questions about the backstory of it. Mi Soo, who shares the same fate as Seul Bi, confidently declares, “My daughter isn’t as weak as you think she is.”

Gong Soo Kwang begs Seul Bi, “Don’t go anywhere! Just stay here, please!” Seul Bi’s expression grows bright with fondness, and she cups his face with her hands as she promises, “I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to stay at your house.”

“Jinxed at First” premieres on June 15 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
