“The Third Marriage” Confirmed To Extend Series By 10 Episodes

 

MBC’s weekday drama “The Third Marriage” has been extended for 10 more episodes!

On March 13, “The Third Marriage” announced that they decided to extend the series, which was originally planned for 122 episodes, by 10 more episodes thanks to the support from viewers.

“The Third Marriage” is about love and marriage that bloom amidst an intense game of truth between a woman who lives a fake life and a woman who fights to uncover the lies. Jung Da Jung (Oh Seung Ah) dreams of a happy newlywed life with Baek Sang Chul (Mun Ji Hu) but is heartbroken when she finds out about his affair with her friend Kang Se Ran (Oh Se Young).

The February 26 broadcast of “The Third Marriage” achieved its personal best in viewership with an average nationwide rating of 6.5 percent. Jang Jae Hoon, the executive producer of MBC Drama Studio, remarked, “We decided to extend the drama in response to the overwhelming support from viewers not only in terms of viewership ratings and popularity but also in VOD (video on demand) views.” He added, “Please look forward to the remaining episodes including the revenge of Jung Da Jung.”

“The Third Marriage” airs every weekday at 7:05 p.m. KST, and it is scheduled to conclude with episode 132 on May 3.
