The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” has shared new stills of Lee Joon and Uhm Ki Joon!

Season 2 of the hit 2023 drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which told the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will depict the counterattack of the seven people, who returned from hell, against new evil that held hands with Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon). In addition to the original cast members reprising their roles, CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin newly joined the cast for Season 2.

In the last season, the complicated twist surrounding the true identity of Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon) and Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon) shocked everyone. Matthew Lee turned out to be “K” Shim Joon Seok, while the biological son of Sung Chan Group Chairman Shim Yong (Kim Il Woo) and the “real” Shim Joon Seok turned out to be Min Do Hyuk. Matthew Lee’s creation of the dangerous game was also a calculated move to target Min Do Hyuk, serving as his method of revenge against Sung Chan Group and Chairman Shim. At the end of Season 1, Matthew Lee, along with the rest of the group, abandoned Min Do Hyuk for death in a building rigged with explosives, yet he miraculously survived thanks to the help of Kang Ki Tak (Yoon Tae Young) and Lee Hwi So (Min Young Ki).

The newly released stills preview the tense reunion between Matthew Lee and Min Do Hyuk. Min Do Hyuk, exuding confidence, makes a pristine appearance in the bustling Tiki Taka lobby, standing before Matthew Lee to greet the reporters. The flower necklace adorning his neck suggests a celebratory atmosphere, possibly indicating a reception awaiting him.

Despite his inner reservations, Matthew Lee musters a forced smile to acknowledge Min Do Hyuk, cautious of their surrounding. As the two engage in an embrace, the palpable tension between them electrifies the air, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with anticipation.
