“Snowdrop” Ratings Dip As “Now We Are Breaking Up” Ends At No. 1 In Time Slot

SBS’s “Now We Are Breaking Up” has come to an end!

On January 8, the romance drama starring Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong ended on stable viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of “Now We Are Breaking Up” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent, making it the most-watched drama in its time slot.

“Now We Are Breaking Up” was also the most-watched drama of Saturday among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 3.5 percent.

Meanwhile, MBC’s new drama “Tracer,” which airs in the same time slot, fell to an average nationwide rating of 6.0 percent for its second episode.

After reversing its downward trend with its previous episode last week, JTBC’s “Snowdrop” dipped to an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent for its latest episode. tvN’s “Bulgasal” rose to an average nationwide rating of 4.5 percent, while “Bad and Crazy” fell to an average rating of 3.1 percent for the night.

TV Chosun’s “Uncle” continued to gain steam, soaring to an average nationwide rating of 7.9 percent for its latest episode—the highest viewership ratings of its run to date.

KBS 1TV’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” earned an average nationwide rating of 10.0 percent, while KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” remained the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday with a nationwide average of 32.3 percent.
