The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from August 9 to September 9.
BTS topped the list for the 64th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 7,785,449, marking an 18.97 percent rise in their score since August. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jungkook,” “V,” and “Jimin,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “powerful,” “appear,” and “donate.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.04 percent positive reactions.
SEVENTEEN held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,355,287, marking an 8.30 percent increase in their score since last month.
NCT rose to third place after seeing a 76.15 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score to 4,041,162 for September.
Meanwhile, EXO took fourth place for the month with a brand reputation index of 3,578,589.
Finally, THE BOYZ rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,224,010, marking a 41.63 percent rise in their score since August.
