Lee Suji is getting married!

On September 6, former The Ark and UNI.T member Lee Suji announced through her Instagram that she would be tying the knot with her boyfriend in October.

Lee Suji’s full letter is as follows:

"Hello, this is Lee Suji.
The new season, Autumn, which happens to be my favorite season is approaching.
I wonder how all of you are doing.

Last year and this year have been truly special and astonishing times for me. While I couldn’t share everything through Instagram, my time has been filled with a lot of laughter and tears, and it has been a period of recovery for me.
It’s also a blessed time where I’ve received more than what I’ve let go of.

Amidst it all, I’ve realized my dearest dream.
I will be getting married this October to someone who has unwaveringly loved me. When I was little, I always wanted to marry someone like my dad, and my soon-to-be husband is someone who embodies the gentleness, tenderness, and warmth of my father.
To me who finds it hard to express myself, he teaches me how to express love, demonstrates a love that sacrifices himself first to be fully dedicated to me, and shows me how to find happiness in the smallest things in life. To me who likes movies, he turns my life into a romantic comedy every day.
Though we are not perfect, we hope to complement each other’s weaknesses and become one.

I held my pen with a nervous heart to share this because I know many of you may be surprised by this sudden news, especially those who have been with me since my debut at a young age.
But I also wrote this letter with joy, knowing that more than anyone else, you’re the one who has filled all the moments in my life with love.
I’m truly thankful for your unwavering support and encouragement throughout all the moments in my life, not just towards me as a singer or actress Lee Suji, but to me as a person.

I look forward to this new chapter in my life as someone who is about to start her own family. More than anything, I’m happy to have come to understand the immense power of love. I pray for new and refreshing winds of love to blow into your lives as well.
