We see Ki-joon’s dramatic side on tape in the first scene of Queen of Divorce Episode 3. In that scenario, the Solution team thinks he’s quite similar to Sa-ra. However, Sa-ra isn’t thrilled to be working beside her ex-boyfriend Ki-joon when he arrives at the office. Furthermore, not a single one of her coworkers is aware of the connection between the two of them. However, Ki-joon tells her that he’ll leave Solution if she isn’t comfortable in three months.
Following this, Ki-joon finds out that Solution is handling a divorce case. He learns about the case between the news achor and his wife, who is a novelist. She wants a divorce and is accusing him of sexual assault. Ki-joon has doubts regarding their case handling methods. Nevertheless, his worries are dismissed.
Since the news anchor is portrayed by Chayul, we are also able to understand Sa-ra’s passion for the case. However, Sa-ra was on the verge of dropping the case when her client Joo-won lied to her. Nevertheless, Sa-ra receives drone footage from Ki-joon that establishes Joo-won’s innocence; investigating further, she meets Joo-won again.
Following that, Joo-won reveals to Sa-ra that she became pregnant as a consequence of her husband’s sexual assault. In order to ensure that her child doesn’t get the title of “child of a sexual offender” she got married to her now husband. While on trial, Sa-ra suggests using this as evidence in her defence. However, Joo-won asks her to reconsider, saying that she doesn’t want the decision to affect her child.
In the course of the case trial, Sa-ra meets Yul-seong, her ex-husband. He is unhappy that she is collaborating with Gi-jun, her ex-boyfriend. However, Sa-ra doesn’t pay any attention to that. We also see a glimpse of the past wherein Sa-ra rushed to meet her son. However, she couldn’t meet him, and the housekeeper even called the police to keep her from her son.
The reasons for Sa-ra’s marriage to Yul-seong are also revealed. Just as Sa-ra was about to run with Gi-jun, she finds out she’s expecting a child. Consequently, she marries Yul-seong and leaves Gi-jun, who was waiting for her at the airport.
Currently, Sa-ra has Joo-won team up with a former victim of her husband’s, whom he had also assaulted. In the final moments of the episode, they all confront the anchor, revealing that he had pretended to be disabled to get out of the case.
Episode 2 finds Sa-ra uncomfortable as Gi-jun becomes a part of Solution. While Sa-ra is still involved in the novelist and anchor’s divorce case, Gi-jun is making her life easier. The backstory of Sa-ra is revealed, revealing why she married Yul-seong.
In terms of plot, this episode is just as interesting as the previous ones. The addition of Gi-jun to the team is intriguing, and the rest of the characters are fun to watch as well. However, the cases appear very static and repetitive owing to an ongoing pattern of identical circumstances.
