Production Team Of Jung Woo Sung And Shin Hyun Been’s Upcoming Drama Apologizes For Leaving Trash At Filming Site

The production team of ENA’s upcoming drama “Tell Me That You Love Me” (literal translation) has apologized following a call-out post on an online community.

On May 31, a post was shared to an online community that detailed how the filming site of “Tell Me That You Love Me” had not been cleaned up. The photos shared showed used cups and drink cans, water bottles, cigarette butts, filming schedules, and more that were left behind.

In response to the post, the drama’s production team shared the following apology:

"This is the production team of “Tell Me That You Love Me.”

This is our statement regarding criticism that cleanup was not performed on our filming site on May 31.

First off, we want to sincerely apologize for causing discomfort and concern to local citizens, who have cooperated with filming, due to the trash left during our shoot.

After completing filming that day according to the manual, the producers felt the shortcomings that occurred during the site cleanup process and have re-examined the manual to ensure garbage is not left unattended during filming.

To make sure this kind of situation does not happen again, we will prevent it in advance and clean up our surroundings more thoroughly."

ENA’s “Tell Me That You Love Me” is based on the romance drama of the same name which aired on TBS in Japan in 1995 and swept the awards for Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, and more at Japan’s The Television Drama Academy Awards. The drama stars Jung Woo Sung as Cha Jin Woo and Shin Hyun Been as Jung Mo Eun.
