The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from April 13 to May 13.
BTS rounded out an uninterrupted five years at the top of the list, taking first place for the 60th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 9,949,491. The group also saw a 5.32 percent rise in their score compared to last month.
High-ranking phrases in BTS’s keyword analysis included “memoir,” “Jimin,” and “stamp,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “publish,” “surpass,” and “print.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 87.50 percent positive reactions.
SEVENTEEN held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,045,808, marking a 73.14 percent increase in their score since April.
EXO similarly maintained their position at third place with a brand reputation index of 2,800,840, marking a 19.98 percent rise in their score since last month.
NCT came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,698,772, marking a 32.76 percent increase in their score since April.
Finally, BTOB rose to fifth place for May with a brand reputation index of 2,136,822, marking a 7.95 percent rise in their score.
