tvN’s upcoming drama “Eve” has shared a sneak peek of Lee Sang Yeob in character!
“Eve” is a new romance drama about a chaebol’s 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation. Unbeknownst to the public, the lawsuit is the result of a carefully calculated revenge scheme 13 years in the making.
Seo Ye Ji will star in the drama as Lee Ra El, the dangerously alluring woman at the center of the divorce lawsuit, while Park Byung Eun will star as Kang Yoon Kyum, the CEO of LY Group. After experiencing the shocking death of her father at a young age, Lee Ra El has grown up into a femme fatale who is determined to take down Kang Yoon Kyum, one of the main culprits responsible for destroying her family.
Lee Sang Yeob will star as Seo Eun Pyung, the youngest member of the National Assembly and a rising star in the political sphere who has caught the attention of the entire nation. Seo Eun Pyung started out at an orphanage, and in spite of his painful past, he has managed to overcome many hurdles in order to rise to the top. However, after meeting Lee Ra El, the promising young politician is prepared to throw everything away for love.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Lee Sang Yeob exudes both a warm charm and a resolute air as the principled Seo Eun Pyung, who is determined to protect both his values and his love.
One intriguing photo also captures Seo Eun Pyung looking troubled after opening a package that was delivered to his office. His worried expression contrasts sharply with the relaxed, easygoing smile he wears in another photo, piquing curiosity as to what might have been in the box.
The producers of “Eve” praised Lee Sang Yeob’s acting, remarking, “From the very first shoot, Lee Sang Yeob was the essence of Seo Eun Pyung himself. Using the foundation of his meticulous analysis of the script and his deep understanding of the character, he is breathing life into the character while portraying the nuances of Seo Eun Pyung’s emotions in fine detail. Please look forward to Lee Sang Yeob’s performance and his passionate acting.”
“Eve” premieres on May 25 and will be available with subtitles on Dramacool.
