CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Cha Tae Hyun may be working together in a new police drama!
On May 13, YTN star reported that Jung Yong Hwa and Cha Tae Hyun will be starring in KBS’s new drama “Brain Cooperation” (literal title) together.
In response to the report, a source from Jung Yong Hwa’s agency FNC Entertainment shared, “Jung Yong Hwa is reviewing the offer to star in ‘Brain Cooperation.'” A representative from Cha Tae Hyun’s agency Blossom Entertainment similarly stated, “He has received the offer and is positively reviewing it.”
“Brain Cooperation” is a drama that portrays the process of teamwork between police officers agains the backdrop of a fierce battle of wits. The drama will be helmed by director Lee Jin Seo of “Strongest Chil Woo,” “Becoming a Billionaire,” “Babyfaced Beauty,” and “Revolutionary Sisters.”
Last year, Jung Yong Hwa starred in KBS’s “Sell Your Haunted House,” through which he won the Excellence Award for Actor in a Mini-Series at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards. The same year, Cha Tae Hyun won the Top Excellence Award for his role in KBS’s “Police University.”
