Lee Joon Hyuk and Han Ji Min may be starring in a new drama together!
On August 22, STARNEWS reported that Lee Joon Hyuk and Han Ji Min will be starring in the new drama “Acquaintances” (working title).
In response to the report, Lee Joon Hyuk’s agency ACE FACTORY shared, “It is true that actor Lee Joon Hyuk received an offer to star in ‘Acquaintances.’ However, it is one of the projects that he has received an offer for, and nothing has yet been decided.” Han Ji Min’s agency BH Entertainment also confirmed that the actress received a casting offer and is reviewing the offer.
“Acquaintances” is a new rom-com drama that follows the story of Kang Ji Yoon, the CEO of a famous headhunting company who is clumsy at everything else but work, as she meets the competent and proud Yoo Eun Ho as her secretary.
Lee Joon Hyuk has reportedly been offered the role of Yoo Eun Ho, a single father raising a 6-year-old daughter who looks perfect in every way. If the actor takes on the role, the drama will mark Lee Joon Hyuk’s first romance drama in five years since “A Poem a Day,” which aired in 2018.
Han Ji Min was reportedly offered the role of Kang Ji Yoon, who emerged as the most popular female CEO admired by many female college students in their 20s by making her company the second largest in the industry within five years since its launch.
Han Ji Min is currently starring in JTBC’s weekend drama “Behind Your Touch” as the female lead Bong Ye Bun, a veterinarian who has a psychometric ability.
