Netflix has unveiled a new glimpse of its upcoming series “A Time Called You”!
Based on the hit Taiwanese drama “Some Day or One Day,” “A Time Called You” is a time-slip romance starring Jeon Yeo Been as Jun Hee, a woman who desperately misses her boyfriend after he passes away. In the midst of her grief, she winds up miraculously traveling back in time to 1998, where she wakes up as the high school student Min Ju and meets fellow student Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop), who looks exactly like her late boyfriend.
After Jun Hee wakes up in Min Ju’s body, Si Heon finds himself drawn to this changed version of Min Ju, while Jun Hee is both bewildered and thrilled to see her lost lover’s face in Si Heon. Completing the love triangle is In Gyu (Kang Hoon), who has harbored a one-sided love for Min Ju for a long time.
Expressing confidence in the strength of the drama’s intricate storyline and plot twists, Ahn Hyo Seop remarked, “As the story progresses, there are lots of points where you realize, ‘Oh, so this is why that happened, that’s why that’s happened.’”
Meanwhile, Jeon Yeo Been described “A Time Called You” as “a series that reminds you of that time, that love from the past.”
Finally, Kang Hoon teased, “Because of the time-slip elements, the story is entertaining and draws you right in. I hope you’ll pay close attention while watching the drama, without missing a thing.”
“A Time Called You” will be released on September 8.
