Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Park Byung Eun, And Ryu Kyung Soo Confirmed To Star In New Drama “The Bequeathed”

New Netflix series “The Bequeathed” has confirmed its cast lineup!

“The Bequeathed” depicts a series of ominous events that happen to Yoon Seo Ha as she inherits a seonsan (a mountain where one’s ancestor’s grave is located) left by her uncle whose existence she had forgotten.

Yeon Sang Ho, who planned and created various projects including “Train to Busan,” “Hellbound,” and “Method,” participated in the planning and screenplay for the drama. Also, it will be directed by Min Hong Nam who worked with Yeon Sang Ho as an assistant director on “Train to Busan,” “Psychokinesis,” and “Peninsula.”

Kim Hyun Joo will take on the role of Yoon Seo Ha, the heir to the seonsan, and will work with director Yeon Sang Ho once again after filming “Hellbound” together. Yoon Seo Ha is a character who becomes embroiled in an ominous incident as she inherits the seonsan after the sudden death of her uncle.

Park Hee Soon will play Choi Sung Joon, a detective with a keen sense of investigation. His intuition tells him that the series of ominous events occurring in the town are related to the inheritance of the seonsan and starts digging into the case.

Park Byung Eun will play Park Sang Min, a squad chief and a junior colleague of Sung Joon. Due to an incident that happened in the past, Park Sang Min holds grudges against Choi Sung Joon and is possessed by feelings of inferiority and jealousy.

Ryu Kyung Soo will take on the role of Kim Young Ho, Yoon Seo Ha’s half-brother. Kim Young Ho suddenly appears in front of Yoon Seo Ha and throws her into confusion, creating suffocating tension throughout the story.
