Bae In Hyuk will come to an important realization on the next episode of “Cheer Up“!
SBS’s “Cheer Up” is a campus mystery rom-com about a college cheer squad whose glory days are long gone and is now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun stars as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Yonhee University’s cheer squad Theia, who has a cheerful personality despite facing difficult circumstances at home. Bae In Hyuk stars as Theia’s oft-misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, who is a firm stickler for the rules but is also a romantic at heart.
On the previous episode of “Cheer Up,” Do Hae Yi unexpectedly ran into Park Jung Woo’s first love Lee Yoo Min (Park Bo Yeon), who had disappeared for two years after her stage lighting accident.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Do Hae Yi, Park Jung Woo, and Lee Yoo Min share a tense encounter after Lee Yoo Min’s dramatic return. Do Hae Yi wears an awkward smile as she tries to break the ice with Lee Yoo Min, while Park Jung Woo—who walks into the room after Do Hae Yi—is visibly surprised to see the two of them together.
In another set of photos from the upcoming episode, Park Jung Woo gets emotional after coming upon Do Hae Yi in an alley late at night. The desperately relieved look in his eyes as he tears up suggests that he was searching frantically for the younger student, while Do Hae Yi looks back at him in bewilderment, seemingly confused as to what’s going on.
The producers of “Cheer Up” teased, “In Episode 6, Park Jung Woo will realize his feelings for Do Hae Yi, which have grown to the point where he can no longer control them.”
“The more he tries to hide his feelings, the more he is unable to conceal them,” they continued. “Park Jung Woo will reveal his sincerity as he tries not to lose anything else that is important to him, so please keep an eye on him.”
The next episode of “Cheer Up” airs on October 18 at 10 p.m. KST.
