Upcoming drama “Connection” has unveiled a group poster!
“Connection” is a new crime thriller starring Ji Sung as Jang Jae Kyung, a well-respected detective who is the ace of the narcotics unit. Although Jang Jae Kyung is a trusted detective who cares deeply about his principles, his world is turned upside down when he is kidnapped and forcibly addicted to a mysterious new drug against his will.
A newly released group poster featuring Ji Sung, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Kyung Nam, Kwon Yool, and more highlights the complex character relationships. The poster centers on Jang Jae Kyung holding a gun with a dense web of red lines spreading out. The phrase, “I don’t even know from who the connection starts,” is scattered across the poster, hinting at Jang Jae Kyung’s quest for the
truth.
Furthermore, Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do), portraying a journalist of Anhyeon Economic Daily Newspaper, sparks interest in their partnership by smiling while placing her hand on Jang Jae Kyung’s shoulder. This sets the stage for a diverse cast of characters including prosecutor Park Tae Jin (Kwon Yool) and Geumhyung Group’s vice chairman Won Jong Soo (Kim Kyung Nam) along with police officers, reporters, chaebol heirs, prosecutors, drug dealers, and other enigmatic individuals all entangled in complex relationships, promising a gripping drama.
The group poster is particularly striking, with characters displaying mysterious expressions and connected by ominous red lines resembling warning signs, creating a sinister ensemble. The central question remains whether Jang Jae Kyung, struggling with drug addiction, will be able to unravel the web of deceit around him and discover the connections he’s searching for.
The production team explained, “The group poster showcases characters from the show who keep viewers on the edge of their seats with gripping tension and increasing curiosity.” They also said, “We have high hopes for ‘Connection,’ where its compelling impact will truly stand out.”
“Connection” will premiere on May 24 at 10 p.m. KST.
