Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min will be starring in the new drama “Your Honor” (literal title)!

On May 22, it was confirmed that Son Hyun Joo and Kim Myung Min will be starring in the upcoming drama “Your Honor.”

Premiering this summer, “Your Honor” is about two fathers who turn monstrous to protect their children, highlighting a clash of paternal instincts.

Son Hyun Joo, known for his intense performances, will play judge Song Pan Ho, a character respected for his warm personality. Song Pan Ho is a man of strong beliefs and a sense of justice, living a successful life without a blemish. As a father and a figure of integrity, Son Hyun Joo is expected to deliver a nuanced portrayal, revealing the complexities of Song Pan Ho’s character.

Kim Myung Min, known for fully embodying his roles, will play Kim Kang Heon, a ruthless crime boss with a cold demeanor and an imposing presence. As a figure who instills fear in everyone, Kim Kang Heon’s relentless paternal love will be portrayed with Kim Myung Min’s commanding charisma.

Renowned South Korean director Pyo Min Soo, known for dramas like “The Producers,” “Iris II: New Generation,” and “Full House,” is participating as a creator. Director Yoo Jong Seon, who directed “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” and “Designated Survivor: 60 Days,” and writer Kim Jae Hwan, known for his wit and sensitivity in “Boys Over Flowers,” are also teaming up for this project.
