ILY:1’s agency has requested that fans refrain from contacting the idols’ family members or acquaintances.
On June 14, FCENM issued an official statement explaining that there had recently been incidents where fans had contacted the ILY:1 members’ friends or family through social media.
The agency stated, “Recently, a minority of fans have figured out the social media accounts and/or messenger IDs of our artist’s family members or acquaintances, and they have contacted them or asked for news [about the artist].
In a longer statement posted on ILY:1’s official fancafe, the agency also asked that fans not follow the idols outside of officially announced activities. They added, “We ask that you refrain from behavior that could make our artist’s families and acquaintances uncomfortable.”
FCENM went on to request that fans keep a safe distance from ILY:1 at the airport and that they not film or record the members in places where filming was prohibited. The agency warned that if fans broke these rules, they would be blacklisted from ILY:1 events and removed from the official fancafe.
ILY:1, who made their debut in April 2022, is a six-member group that includes four former “Girls Planet 999” contestants—Ririka, Hana, Rona (Chang Ching), and Ara (Lee Yun Ji)—as well as members Elva and Nayu.
