BLACKPINK’s Jennie has shared a personal apology to her fans for leaving midway through the group’s recent concert in Melbourne.

This past weekend, Jennie unexpectedly left the stage mid-concert due to health reasons during BLACKPINK’s second “BORN PINK” show in Melbourne on June 11. Later that evening, YG Entertainment released a statement explaining that Jennie’s condition had been deteriorating during the show—and that even though she’d hoped to push through with the concert until the end, she had received medical advice on site to rest instead.

On June 13, Jennie followed up by personally apologizing to her fans for not having been able to wrap up the concert.

In a message posted to Instagram Stories, she wrote in English, “Dear Melbourne Blinks, I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show on Sunday. I’m doing my best to recover at the moment. Your understanding and support means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who came out to our Melbourne show. Love you guys.”
