On June 14, MK Sports reported that actor Jo Dong Hyuk and volleyball player Han Song Yi had broken up after six years of dating.
Following various reports, a representative of Jo Dong Hyuk’s agency J FLOW Company shared with Newsen, “It’s true that the two have broken up. The specific timing of their breakup is private and thus difficult to share.”
The pair first began dating in 2016 after starring together on the volleyball special of KBS2’s variety show “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education.” They went public with their relationship in 2017.
Jo Dong Hyuk made his acting debut in the 2004 drama “Ms. Kim’s Million Dollar Quest” and has since starred in works such as “Snow in August,” “Brain,” “Rude Miss Young Ae,” and “Rugal.” Han Song Yi made her debut as a volleyball player in 2002 and has competed as a national team member at the 2010 Asian Games, where she was part of the silver medal winning team, and the 2012 London Olympics.
