SBS’s “Our Beloved Summer” previewed changes in the characters’ relationships!
The SBS drama is about ex-couple Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) and Guk Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi), whose relationship did not end on good terms. Years later, the documentary they filmed in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be together in front of the camera once more.
In the last episode, Choi Woong was at a loss because of his hazy memories and evidence of Guk Yeon Soo having visited him the night before the live drawing show. When Woong realized that the dream-like moments had all been real, he found himself going to Yeon Soo’s house, confirming the feelings they still have for one another.
The newly released stills preview Choi Woong spending time together with NJ (Noh Jung Ui). The two sit side-by-side on the swings while sharing a conversation together. Choi Woong also seems to have adjusted to NJ’s straightforward attitude, and they’re surrounded by a comfortable atmosphere, hinting at a turn in their relationship.
Another image depicts Guk Yeon Soo with a wavering gaze as she witnesses Choi Woong and NJ spending time together. Meanwhile, Kim Ji Woong (Kim Sung Cheol) just watches the entire situation unfold as if he’s a camera documenting the moment. He has a lonely and longing gaze, drawing even more curiosity about the future of the four characters’ relationships.
In the upcoming episode, chaos will ensue as Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo disappear suddenly without a word. The documentary, which will be put to a full stop due to their absence, will take a different turn regardless of Kim Ji Woong’s plans. The production team shared, “Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo’s reunion romance will face a turning point. Today’s (December 27) episode 7 will depict the way the two people appear to be drifting apart again despite being close as well as the critical incident that will act as the catalyst for their emotions.”
The next episode of “Our Beloved Summer” will air on December 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
