ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo In Talks For New Revenge Drama

 

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo may be joining Kim Nam Joo in a new drama!

On May 26, StarNews reported that Cha Eun Woo had been cast as the male lead in the upcoming drama “Wonderful World” (literal title). Later that morning, Fantagio clarified, “He is currently in talks for the drama with a favorable outlook, but nothing has been decided.”

“Wonderful World” is a suspenseful revenge drama about a woman who tragically loses her young son. When the law forgives the culprit, she decides to seek vengeance on her own.

Veteran actress Kim Nam Joo is currently in talks to play the female lead, while Kim Kang Woo is in talks to play her husband. The drama will be helmed by Lee Seung Young, the director of “Tracer,” “Voice 2,” and “The Missing.”

Cha Eun Woo is said to have been offered the role of Kwon Sun Yool, a medical student on leave who dreams of treating children who are ill, like he is. His character, who unexpectedly winds up entangled with the female lead, remains veiled in mystery.
