2PM’s Lee Junho Has Hard Time Pretending Not To Be Chairman’s Son On His 1st Day At Work In “King The Land”

Jun 16, 2023

2PM’s Lee Junho will struggle to fit in at work in his upcoming JTBC drama “King the Land”!

“King the Land” will tell the story of the unlikely romance between Gu Won (Lee Junho), a chaebol heir who can’t stand fake smiles, and the constantly smiling Cheon Sa Rang (Girls’ Generation’s YoonA), who becomes known as the “queen of smiles” while working her way up at the King Hotel.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Gu Won hides his identity as the son of King Group’s chairman Gu Il Hoon (Son Byung Ho) on his first day of work as an intern at the company. However, things get off to a rocky start when Gu Won has a hard time fitting in on the job.

First, Gu Won is nearly late to work due to an unbelievable mistake—and then he struggles to adapt to the corporate culture, insisting on doing things his way and even calmly talking back to his superior. In one photo, he has his arms crossed as his co-worker Noh Sang Sik (Ahn Se Ha) holds a smoking object, revealing that Gu Won alone remains unfazed despite chaos breaking out at work.

However, despite sticking out like a sore thumb and being branded the “problem intern,” Gu Won does find a friend in fellow intern Noh Sang Sik. As they get closer, Noh Sang Sik will help Gu Won adapt to the job and figure out how to survive at work.
