Will Shin Hye Sun be able to win Ahn Bo Hyun over in “See You in My 19th Life”?
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life” is an upcoming romance drama about a woman named Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), who has been repeatedly reincarnated for nearly a thousand years and remembers all of her past lives. After her 18th life is tragically cut short, Ban Ji Eum decides that in her 19th life, she will do everything she can to find a man named Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun) that she met in her 18th life.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Ban Ji Eum has successfully managed to track down Moon Seo Ha, a chaebol heir who can’t forget his first love—but things don’t quite seem to be going as planned.
After landing a job working for Moon Seo Ha, Ban Ji Eum doesn’t miss the opportunity to shoot her shot, and she relentlessly flirts with her boss at every opportunity.
However, Moon Seo Ha is just as determined to keep his walls up as he fends off her attentions, leading to an “unstoppable force meets immovable object” situation. Eventually, Moon Seo Ha is unable to hide his exasperation as he buries his face in his palm.
At the drama’s recent press conference, Shin Hye Sun commented, “[Ban Ji Eum] had no choice but to aggressively pursue him. Moon Seo Ha doesn’t accept her advances; instead, he immediately grows suspicious of her. With that type of person, it’s better to just keep pushing instead of being too calculating or cautious.”
“Ban Ji Eum knows this all too well,” she playfully continued. “After all, she’s lived 19 lives.”
To find out if Ban Ji Eum will succeed in breaking down Moon Seo Ha’s walls, catch the premiere of “See You in My 19th Life” on June 19 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
