Upcoming drama “Delivery Man” has unveiled its first stills of Yoon Chan Young!
Genie TV’s new original drama “Delivery Man” will tell the story of a duo comprised of a taxi driver who is working to make ends meet and a ghost suffering from memory loss. Yoon Chan Young will play Seo Young Min, a taxi driver who runs a “ghost-only” taxi business, fulfilling their wishes while giving them a lift. Minah will take on the role of Kang Ji Hyun, a ghost who suffers from memory loss and soon finds herself catching a free ride in Seo Young Min’s taxi.
Seo Young Min, who started to work as a taxi driver after inheriting his late mother’s taxi, is a meticulous person who even calculates the cost of making a U-turn or pressing the brake. The reason he is desperate to make money is to keep the house that he is living in with his grandmother. However, when ghost Kang Ji Hyun who suffers from amnesia somehow gets attached to his taxi, his ordinary ride takes an unexpected turn.
The newly released stills share a sneak peek of taxi driver Seo Young Min’s dynamic daily life. In the first image, his frustrated expression behind the wheel amidst a dark and gloomy atmosphere foreshadows an unusual incident to come. With ghost Kang Ji Hyun unexpectedly freeloading on his taxi, Seo Young Min’s life turns upside down.
Actor Yoon Chan Young remarked, “I think I only took taxis while preparing [for the role]. During the rides, I asked the drivers about things I was curious about, and they answered kindly every time. This helped me understand the [taxi operating] system,” revealing his passion for the character.
Yoon Chan Young added, “I had lots of concerns and felt a sense of responsibility while living as Seo Young Min. However, I think the heart-fluttering feelings and pleasant sense of tension are always positive feelings. I hope that I can vividly convey the special adventure with ghosts to viewers.”
“Delivery Man” is set to premiere on March 1 at 9:00 p.m. KST.
