Jin Ki Joo will be joining Song Kang Ho’s upcoming first-ever drama!
On February 9, Jin Ki Joo’s agency FL ENT commented, “Jin Ki Joo will be appearing in the drama ‘Uncle Sam Sik’ [literal title] as Joo Yeo Jin,” who is the drama’s female lead.
“Uncle Sam Sik” will tell the story of the desire and bromance of two men, Uncle Sam Sik and Kim San, who survived the turbulent times in the early 1960s in Korea.
32 years after his debut, Song Kang Ho will be appearing in his first-ever drama in the lead role of Uncle Sam Sik, while Byun Yo Han will portray Kim San. The drama also stars Lee Kyu Hyung, Seo Hyun Woo, and more.
“Uncle Sam Sik” will be a 10-episode drama and is currently discussing its broadcast schedule. Filming is set to begin soon.
Jin Ki Joo made her debut in tvN’s 2015 drama “Twenty Again” and has since starred in various projects like “Little Forest, JTBC’s “Misty,” MBC’s “Come and Hug Me,” and KBS2’s “Homemade Love Story.”
