KBS’s “Moonshine” has shared a peek of a turbulent moment in the upcoming episode!
“Moonshine” is a historical drama set in the Joseon era, during the time when prohibition laws were at their strongest. It stars Yoo Seung Ho as Nam Young, Joseon’s greatest inspector who is known for living a principled life, and Hyeri as Kang Ro Seo, a struggling aristocrat who starts making illegal alcohol in order to support her family.
Previously, Lee Pyo’s (Byun Woo Seok’s) uncle Lee Si Heum (Choi Won Young) confessed that he was the one who killed Prince Seonghyeon and Kang Ro Seo’s father. He stated that the reason he did those things was because of Lee Pyo and subtly put pressure on Lee Pyo by saying that if he told this secret to anyone, his mother would be in danger.
This amplifies the question of what will happen between Nam Young and Lee Pyo. Throughout the drama, Nam Young became a friend that Lee Pyo relies on. However, Lee Pyo has a weak spot when it comes to his mother, so all eyes are on how he will face this predicament.
The newly released stills hint that Nam Young and Lee Pyo’s relationship won’t be mended anytime soon. Both of them know the truth about Lee Si Heum killing Kang Ro Seo’s father, and the two are engaged in a fiery war of nerves. In the midst of a tense confrontation, Lee Pyo eventually points his sword at Nam Young, who grows flustered and flinches. On top of that, Lee Pyo urgently demands Nam Young to be arrested, and one photo captures the moment when Nam Young is dragged away with his hands tied together.
The next episode of “Moonshine” airs on February 21 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
