The film “Hijacking,” which depicts the extreme situation when an aircraft full of passengers gets hijacked in the airspace of Korea in 1971, released character stills of Yeo Jin Goo in the role of hijacker Yong Dae.
Actor Yeo Jin Goo, known for his authentic portrayal of characters’ emotions, takes on his most daring villain role yet in “Hijacking.” In the film, Yeo Jin Goo plays Yong Dae, a hijacker from Sokcho, Gangwon Province, who faced discrimination because his brother was allegedly a member of the North Korean People’s Army during the Korean War. Wrongfully accused and unfairly imprisoned, Yong Dae boards a plane determined to reunite with his brother in the North.
