JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” went out on a high note!
On January 21, the romance drama soared to the highest viewership ratings of its entire run for its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Welcome to Samdalri” scored an average nationwide rating of 12.3 percent, marking an almost 2 percent jump from the night before.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” broke past the 20 percent mark to reach a new all-time high of 21.4 percent for its latest episode—continuing its streak as the most-watched program of any kind to air on Sunday.
TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” also wrapped up the first half of its run on its own all-time high. The latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 3.0 percent, marking a new personal record for the series.
tvN’s new drama “Captivating the King,” which airs in an overlapping time slot, premiered to an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent for its first episode.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” returned to the double digits with an average nationwide rating of 10.1 percent.
