WJSN’s Bona will live an intriguing double life in MBC’s new historical drama!

“Joseon Attorney” (literal translation) will star Woo Do Hwan as an oejibu (an attorney in the Joseon dynasty) who seeks to avenge the death of his parents through a trial. In his journey towards righteous revenge, Kang Han Soo (Woo Do Hwan) grows as a human being and becomes a true attorney who protects and stands for the people.

WJSN’s Bona will star in the drama as idealistic princess Lee Yeon Joo, who also seeks to avenge her father using the law and who approaches Kang Han Soo in her quest for vengeance. However, as someone who truly cares for her country and its people, Lee Yeon Joo believes that revenge must have meaning and value

The drama’s fun second teaser shares a peek into princess Lee Yeon Joo’s double life. The magical start shows Lee Yeon Joo getting ready as her entrance is announced to the king. Things then take an abrupt turn as Lee Yeon Joo smiles brightly then gets to work in the kitchen. Someone disapprovingly asks, “What kind of princess opens a lodge?”

Despite people’s disapproval, the princess looks happy as she serves tea to her customers. Lee Yeon Joo explains, “Didn’t I just do what others couldn’t? Because someone had to do it,” which immediately gets her scolded.

An unexpected incident leads her to the quirky Kang Han Soo, whom she ends up working for. However, their partnership is everything but smooth sailing as Kang Han Soo refuses to cooperate. Sensing that his mind is elsewhere, Lee Yeon Joo frustratedly asks, “Are you listening?” Later, she walks beside him and his horse as she states in an exasperated tone, “If you’re going to be rude like this, I’m going to properly act that way too!” Eventually, he drives her so angry that she stabs at her food while muttering his name.

Despite all the stress Kang Han Soo puts her through, the princess remains kindhearted as she miraculously appears to rescue him while he’s getting chased.
