Watch: Lee Ji Ah Is Forced To Face The Truth In Eerie Premiere Teaser For “Pandora: Beneath The Paradise”

A teaser has dropped for the premiere episode of “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”!

Penned by “The Penthouse” writer Kim Soon Ok and helmed by “One the Woman” director Choi Young Hoon, tvN’’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will tell the revenge story of a woman who comes to realize that her picture-perfect life is not what it seems.

Lee Ji Ah will star as Hong Tae Ra, a woman who has lost her memories but otherwise seems to have it all, with a life that anyone would envy. When her wealthy and successful husband decides to run for president, Hong Tae Ra also finds herself entering the spotlight. However, when her memories begin to return, Hong Tae Ra realizes that her seemingly perfect life is actually a fabrication orchestrated by someone else as part of a devious grand plan.

Lee Sang Yoon will star as Hong Tae Ra’s husband Pyo Jae Hyun, a genius entrepreneur and the chairman of the successful IT company Hatch. A born leader with unquenchable ambition, Pyo Jae Hyun steps into the public eye when he enters the presidential race.

The drama’s newest teaser previews what’s to come in Episode 1 as Hong Tae Ra is forced to face the truth of a mysterious case from 15 years ago. The clip starts with Pyo Jae Hyun presenting Hatch’s newest creation and celebrating with his fellow Hatch executives Jang Do Jin (Park Ki Woong) and Goo Sung Chan (Bong Tae Gyu). Lee Ji Ah excitedly comments, “The best in Korea are all gathered here. Am I buying a townhouse with these people?”

Jang Hee Jin then appears as Go Hae Soo, Hong Tae Ra’s best friend and Jang Do Jin’s wife. As she prepares to go on-air as a news anchor, someone behind the cameras belittles her for having been supported by a chaebol family. Later, a woman visits Jang Do Jin’s home and starts to undress as he anxiously asks, “How did you get in here? What if Hae Soo comes?!”

Eventually, the teaser highlights the life-changing incident that leaves Hong Tae Ra without her memories. Although her memories are lost now, Hong Tae Ra is informed, “Your memories will gradually come back.” She asks her husband, “Weren’t you afraid of a woman who had lost all her memories?”

After an unknown mailman delivers a mysterious package, Go Hae Soo hands it over to Hong Tae Ra and explains, “Someone sent me this photo.” The mysterious photo evokes a dramatic reaction from Hong Tae Ra as Go Hae Soo adds, “They said it’s the culprit who killed my father.”
