Watch: Song Hye Kyo, Jang Ki Yong, And More Experience Ups And Downs Of Love And Life In “Now We Are Breaking Up” Teaser

Upcoming SBS drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” released a new highlight video!

“Now We Are Breaking Up” is a realistic romance drama about love and breakups set against the backdrop of the fashion industry. Song Hye Kyo will star as Ha Young Eun, a fashion designer who is a firm realist, while Jang Ki Yong will star as Yoon Jae Guk, an intelligent freelance photographer who changes her mind about love.

The new preview begins with an extravagant night during which Ha Young Eun meets Yoon Jae Guk. She tells him, “I’m not Hwang Chi Sook (Choi Hee Seo).” Yoon Jae Guk smiles while replying, “I know, Ha Young Eun.” The clip continues to highlight the busy life of Ha Young Eun as a successful fashion designer and Yoon Jae Guk as a skilled photographer who lives life freely.

Next, the drama introduces Hwang Chi Sook, who states, “Men? Yes, I’m thirsty for men.” Hwang Chi Sook is the design team’s general director who’s always craving love and whom Ha Young Eun is always cleaning up after. After Yoon Jae Guk catches her from falling, Hwang Chi Sook falls in love and mistakenly believes him to be Seok Do Hoon (Kim Joo Heon).

However, when Hwang Chi Sook goes looking for Seok Do Hoon, she’s surprised to find someone else. She remarks disdainfully, “Seok Do Hoon isn’t of this quality.” Seok Do Hoon is Yoon Jae Guk’s housemate and the CEO of Vision PR. He’s a skilled man who’s well-known in the PR (public relations) industry.

Although Ha Young Eun and Hwang Chi Sook are friends, the drama also previews some discord between the two. Hwang Chi Sook yells, “I’m your senior at work,” and Ha Young Eun replies, “Yeah, you’re my senior at work, so act like it.”

Finally, the drama introduces Jeon Mi Sook (Park Hyo Joo), Ha Young Eun’s other close high school friend. Jeon Mi Sook gave up her career as a model to marry Kwak Soo Ho (played by Yoon Na Moo) and raise their children. In the background, Hwang Chi Sook states, “I have a lot of things I want to say, but I’m not saying them because of Mi Sook and because I’m a third party.” The teaser hints that Kwak Soo Ho is with another woman at work, and Ha Young Eun is shown rushing into what appears to be Jeon Mi Sook’s house with the paramedics where she is unconscious on the bathroom floor.

In her phone call with Jeon Mi Sook, Ha Young Eun states, “I have to keep myself in shape if I’m going to survive. It’s a cruel world in which people say a designer has lost their touch if they look like they’ve aged or gained weight.” Jeon Mi Sook replies, “You should still keep a room open in your heart. Who knows? Maybe a proper man will come in.”

The video continues to portray Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk being drawn to each other as Ha Young Eun narrates, “I met one person. I loved one person. That love made a path, and I walked that path in front of me with that love. That is what it means for love to be connected, except, we can’t be together.”
