Nov 3, 2021

MONSTA X’s Hyungwon’s upcoming drama “Fly Again” has released a new teaser!

“Fly Again” is a musical web drama that follows the stories of students at an arts high school who dream of becoming idols. Hyungwon plays Han Yo Han, a talented dancer who gives up on his dream until he discovers the dance club “Villains.” Kim Myung Ji stars as On Ji Min, who has blindly focused on school due to her family’s wishes, but experiences a life change upon meeting Han Yo Han.

Park Eun Hye joins as D9 Entertainment’s CEO Goo Song Yi, who is said to have the Midas touch of the idol world. While she knows how to create successful idol groups, she is a ruthless character who sets her sights on Han Yo Han ahead of debuting a new boy group.

Tony Ahn will play Yoo Min Hyuk, a music teacher who was a member of the legendary first-generation idol group D19. After teaching at a normal high school, he receives an offer to take over the “Villains” K-pop club at Han Bit Arts High School. Although he’s vowed to never return to the entertainment industry, he’s moved by the students’ passion that reminds him of his younger self. However, through this position, he reunites with Goo Song Yi, who is the reason he stopped being an idol.

The newly released teaser shows the students of Han Bit Arts High School hard at work. Someone says in voice-over, “When you picture yourself doing something, and your heart beats faster and you smile, that’s a dream.”

The students explain, “Who becomes an idol to get first place? We just do it because we like it. We like standing on stage, and we are happy to have fellow members to perform with.” However, their unity is disrupted when someone insists, “There are no friends here. We are all competitors.” Yoo Min Hyuk remarks, “Are we really one team? Think of your greater goal.”

They get back on track as they decide not to get caught up in rankings. Han Yo Han states, “I want to become an idol. I want to fly again, not by myself, but together, in front of people who like my dancing.”

“Fly Again” also stars Bae Hyun Joon, Lee Seung Heon, Kim Ha Jun, Woo Han Moe, Moon Jung Gi, and Son Su Min. The drama premieres on November 13 and will be available on DramaCool.
