Watch: Jang Ki Yong, Chun Woo Hee, And Park So Yi Show Affection On Set Of "The Atypical Family"

JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” has shared a new making-of video!

“The Atypical Family” is a fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems.

The newly released making-of video goes behind the scenes of the heartwarming father-daughter scene and the sweet kiss scene from Episode 9.

The video starts out with Jang Ki Yong and Park So Yi displaying their affectionate bond on- and off-screen. During a scene where Jang Ki Yong teaches Park So Yi to ride a bike, he admits it’s his first time teaching someone, saying, “This is not easy. It’s my first time [teaching someone to ride a bicycle].” After practicing, the on-screen father and daughter share a conversation about their dinner and shyly dance together when music fills the set, spreading smiles all around. Park So Yi’s sweet gesture of giving Jang Ki Yong a heat pack also highlights their caring dynamic.

Next, Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee meticulously prepare for their tender kiss scene. In order to perfect the details of the scene, they carefully rehearse their lines and movements, like holding hands and placing the ring on Chun Woo Hee’s finger. The two actors also joke around throughout their rehearsals, adding warmth to the set.

Later, Jang Ki Yong accidentally puts the ring on the wrong hand during filming, prompting a retake. Despite the hiccup, they maintain their lovely and pleasant demeanor throughout the filming process.
