TWICE has achieved an exciting career first on the Billboard 200!
Back in March, TWICE made history by recording the biggest U.S. sales week of any female K-pop artist to date with their mini album “READY TO BE,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Last week, TWICE also became the first female K-pop artist ever to chart three different albums for eight weeks each on the Billboard 200, with their last three albums (“Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” “BETWEEN 1&2,” and “READY TO BE”) all having achieved the feat.
To add to those accomplishments, “READY TO BE” has now become TWICE’s first album to spend nine weeks on the Billboard 200. For the week ending on May 20, the mini album came in at No. 195, marking its ninth consecutive week on the chart.
Outside of the Billboard 200, “READY TO BE” stayed strong at No. 6 in its ninth week on Billboard’s World Albums chart, and it also swept the No. 13 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.
Finally, TWICE climbed back up to No. 56 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 29th overall week on the chart.
Congratulations to TWICE on their new personal record!
