Tantai Jin thinks that Xiao Lin came to rescue Ye Bingshang regardless of the danger, and his affection and righteousness are touching, but Ye Bingshang made it clear that no matter what Xiao Lin does, it has nothing to do with her. Ye Xiwu didn't understand why Ye Bingshang had a good relationship with Xiao Lin before, why she is acting so different now.

Ye Qingyu reported to Tantai Jin that he heard that Pianran and Ye Bingshang were arguing about love, but Ye Bingshang said that she didn't understand what Ye Qingyu said. Tantai Jin told Ye Bingshang either tell the truth or he will, so she spoke. She said seven years ago, Ye Bingshang when she was sixteen, on her way to the temple, she ran into Jiang Rao who was seriously injured in the mountains. Jiang Rao wanted to see his sweetheart for one last time, but the injury was too serious and he died. He plead with Ye Bingshang to tell Pianran that he was an ordinary person and have no chance to grow old with her, and hope that Pianran can find a new love in the future and live a happy life. After Jiang Rao's death, Ye Bingshang took Qingsi (the love heart that Piaran gave to Jiang Rao) to the city to look for Pianran. When she saw the beautiful Pianran, she picked up Qingsi enviously, but she didn't expect that Qingsi gave her such a wonderful feeling. It made her prettier by the day and men fall in love with her.

Tantai Jin said Ye Bingshang was greedy and didn't even tell Pianran the news of Jiang Rao's death, and took possession of other people's possession.  Ye Bingshang didn't even repent, and when she saw Xiao Lin's from his hiding place, she scream out that she had nothing compare to her sister and that people love her because of the Qingsi, and Xiao Lin's vows were only because of the Qingsi. She hated Ye Qingyu and Ye Xiwu for having everything since childhood, but now she has lost everything if she was to lose the Qingsi.

Tantai Jin saw the real love thread, and also understood that Ye Xiwu also grew love thread in his heart, and it was Ye Xiwu who made him understand what love feels like. Tantaijin returned the Qingsi (love thread ) to Pianran, and ordered Xiao Lin to be imprisoned, deprived Ye Bingshang of the title of Mrs. Xuancheng, and made her a servant in Yeting Court.

Seeing Pianran who was sad, Ye Qingyu drank with her to relieve her sorrow. The drunken Pianran talked about how she met Jiang Rao. She waited at home for more than a thousand days after Jiang Rao went to war, and later went to Jiaguan to find his body, but she didn't know that Jiang Rao died outside the city.  Ye Qingyu felt sorry for Pianran, so he could only silently accompany her.

It will take three days for Tantai Minglang's formation to be completed, and after refining day and night, there are more than ten thousand evil spirit troops at his disposal. Tantai Minglang asked Fu Yu to speed up the training of the Yin Sha Army, and he wanted to deal with Tantai Jin as soon as possible.

Ye Xiwu came to visit Xiao Lin with warm clothes, but he said Tantai Jin is treating him well and he needs nothing. Ye Xiwu said it was stuff her dad and grandmother asked her to bring to him. After talking to Xiao Lin she learned he came into the palace with the intention of dying. Xiao Lin is now imprisoned and has no ambition. He believes that Tantai Jin will treat the people of the country well, and only his death can shatter the hope of restoring the country to back to the original royal family member such as himself. Ye Xiwu told him she will find a way to save Xiao Lin so he can leave with the Shengguo army on the 6th.  Xiao Lin told Ye Xiwu that she was not the real Ye Xiwu. He said the original Xiwu would not risk her life to save others. Xiao Lin didn't delve into Ye Xiwu's real identity at this time, and promised to help her keep it a secret.

Tantai Jin learned from Erbai Yu that Ye Xiwu visited Xiao Lin, although he didn't know what they said, he told him what he saw. Erbai Yu said he saw Xiao Lin touch Ye Xiwu's face and then she took off her coat and gave it to Xiao Lin, Tantai Jin got really jealous and mad and told Erbai to find another person that can speak properly to keep an eye out for Xiao LIn.

Grandmother Ye came to Ye Ting to visit Ye Bingshang right when Ye Bingsdhang was trying to destroy Ye Xiwu's dress (because now as a servant she had to doing Ye Xiwu's laundry). Grandmother Ye thought it was only natural to be punished for making mistakes, but her family would not abandon Ye Bingshang. Grandma Ye brought clothes and food and supplies for Ye Bingshang. Then she handed Ye Bingshang the hand cream prepared by Ye Xiwu. Grandmother told her that the cream can't be bought with money, because it was a special cream made for Ye Xiwu by the order of Tantai Jin. Ye Bingshang was feeling angry inside, then she thought of having her Grandmother plead with Ye Xiwu to give her freedom for a day to go pay respect to her dead mother. Grandmother Ye agreed to ask Ye Xiwu get Ye Bingshang freedome for a day so she could pay her respects at her birth mother's Sunrise Palace.

Pianran noticed that Ye Qingyu had been asking for leave to go out recently. Out of curiosity, she followed him and found that he went to pay homage to Jiang Rao outside Shengguo City. Ye Qingyu admired Jiang Rao's sacrifice for the country and envied that he could be remembered in Pianran's heart. Ye Qingyu also wanted Pianran to remember him in her heart. He wanted her to live well, stay by his side, love her, and protect her. In front of Jiang Rao's tomb, Ye Qingyu promised to love Pianran all his life. Pianran appeared in front of Jiang Rao's tomb and thanked Ye Qingyu for repeatedly going out to retrieve Jiang Rao's bones. She also said that she is doing well now and has found someone who can accompany her for a hundred years.

Tantai Jin allowed Ye Bingshang to go home to pay homage, but also told Ye Xiwu to be on her toes with Ye Bingshang. In order to help Xiao Lin escape, Ye Xiwu planned to cook sweet porridge for Tantai Jin after returning to Ye's house. When Ye Bingshang learned about it, she took advantage of her unpreparedness and drugged the sweet porridge. She also took away a bowl of porridge for Grandma Ye to enjoy. Ye Xiwu also put Mongolian sweat medicine in the porridge, so that she can help Xiao Lin escape after Tantai Jin fell asleep. Ye Xiwu brought the sweet porridge back to the palace for Tantai Jin to enjoy, but accidentally found that the moth that fell into the sweet porridge died unexpectedly, which made Tantai Jin aware of Ye Xiwu's hidden plans.
