THEBLACKLABEL has released an official statement following an accident injuring four staff members.
According to Osan Police Station and Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, an accident occurred on February 28 in which four people including a photographer and staff who were preparing for a photo shoot fell 6 meters (approximately 20 feet) from the second floor of a three-story abandoned factory. Reportedly, the staff were preparing for a photo shoot for THEBLACKLABEL’s idol trainees.
From the accident, one man in his 40s and another man in his 30s sustained serious injuries and were transferred to a nearby hospital. An additional man and woman in their 20s were taken to the hospital due to light injuries including back pain.
All four are currently in non-life threatening condition.
Following the accident, THEBLACKLABEL shared an official statement:
"Hello.
This is THEBLACKLABEL.
On February 28, while carrying out a shoot, an accident occurred in which staff fell.
Out of the four injured, two are staff members of an outsourced production company, and the other two are employees of our agency. They were transferred to the hospital immediately after the accident, and actions were taken for them to undergo complete medical examinations as well as treatment for their injuries.
The agency promises to do our best for the speedy recovery of the injured after consultation with the medical staff, and we will be more careful so that accidents do not recur at filming sites going forward."
