The battle for weekend drama ratings remains as tough as ever!
On October 29, tvN’s “The Queen’s Umbrella” achieved its highest ratings to date for a Saturday, when its ratings are typically lower compared to Sundays. According to Nielsen Korea, the new period drama starring Kim Hye Soo scored an average nationwide rating of 7.8 percent for its fifth episode.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer” returned to air last night after a one-night hiatus due to baseball coverage. The popular drama scored an average nationwide rating of 13.7 percent, successfully remaining the most-watched miniseries of the entire week.
“One Dollar Lawyer” also remained the most-watched program of the entire week among viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 5.9 percent.
MBC’s “The Golden Spoon,” which airs in the same time slot as “One Dollar Lawyer,” fell sharply to an average nationwide rating of 4.7 percent for its latest episode.
tvN’s “Blind” earned an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent ahead of the final week of its run, while JTBC’s “The Empire” scored a nationwide average of 1.8 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” remained the most-watched show of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 16.7 percent.
